Wow, verdict reached in ten hours!

Love the video. It certainly captures all of this girl's "charms."

Incredible verdict!

I guess she can get a book and movie deal now. It's hard to believe.

That bitch is stone cold.

I'm still just stunned...sad, too. Frustrated, disillusioned. Those jurors' lives will never be the same, either, and in a very bad way. I wonder if they really gave that thought?

I really think that because they found Caylee's body it is what cost the prosecution the case. Because they found her in such a horrible state it really did hinder them because people seem to think because you have a body you have the cause of death....I dont think that enough was put into just how degraded her little body was after all that time and that they couldnt do a lot with what they had to find out.

And seriously I hate that I am old enough to remember Diane Downs but Casey totally reminds me of her. Just cold and only concerned for herself. Only upset because she got caught. Where were the tears for that baby?

Maybe they should have played, "Hungry Likr the Wolves" like they did at Diane's trial, and watch Cassey party on!
The whole thing is nauseating.

This whole thing IS just sick. And the difference between her during the trial and today? I would like to choke the smug look right off of her face.

Lord, she looked just awful today. What was with that lopsided bump of hair on the back of her head? Word on the news shows is that she was looking her best, figuring she was going home today. And I'm fucking sick to death of these jurors saying how awful they felt having to make that decision because they "had" to, not enough proof, yet Juror #3 got caught on one of her biggest reasons, because there *was proof she needed. When told that and asked if they went through the evidence, she looked awful and basically said no, not really. They just wanted to go home, end of subject. Bastards, all of them.

She looked like a crazy person today. Totally manic.
And her mom saying "Oh *there she is. She looks beautiful!" Does that mean the other Casey is the one who accussed George of molesting her? The other Casey is the one who killed her daughter?

Erin, even weirder was Mason saying tonight that he believes the relationship between Casey and her parents is irretrievably broken, that *maybe she could rebuild with Lee some day but that's it. Did anyone tell Cindy this?

I dont think that a relitionship with her father will ever be made again. A mother's heart can forgive a lot but after all that he has had to endure because of her I would be amazed if he could move on from this with her.

And the jurors really do piss me off in a way. Would it have been so hard to just be in a dead lock that could not be broken and have the case retried??? Now because of the not guilty ruling she can never be charged with this ever again, she got away with murder so they could go home.

I don't think she will need to worry about George. I can't imagine that after all this, *and the end results he will not try to commit suicide again. Casey gets off with a slap on the srist, and he ends up looking like a monster. Not that people will believe the things said about him, but that is how I would feel in his shoes.

Erin, I agree about George. In some ways, George reminds me very much of my own father...a dreamer, never sticking to anything as a career because whatever it was, it was never what he's dreamed of for his life. Weak in some ways. In time, and with a controlling wife (and yes, my mother was, too), they become beaten down and so very depressed that they just run on auto-pilot, with occasional flashes of unwarranted anger over little things showing the true hurt and anger they have inside. It doesn't make them bad men, it doesn't make them men that would ever harm their loved ones in *any way...just the opposite, it makes them men who would easily give their own life up, just for some relief. Or, in George's case, to do the only thing he feels he's able to do - make sure Caylee is with God, as he said.

Driving by to say that I don't think Ron Paul looks *that old. :D

Have y'all been hearing about the jurors? Tonight, it's reported at one, a 60 year old woman and a Publix employee has quit her job and gone into hiding, due to death threats. Look, I think the jury screwed up royally, but that's shitty. She undoubtedly did what she thought was best, for whatever reason, and we have to accept that. And now the jury foreman says he's disgusted by the verdict, but they had to do it since it was never proven how Caylee died. Hello, it didn't *have to be proven how she died. Jeeeeez. I don't wish physical harm on any of the jurors but man, I hope they feel guilty over what they did.

And Mulie, maybe "old" wasn't the right word. "Frail" might be more appropriate. :-D
