I was just about to ask who I needed to eff to get a new post. A pregnant woman can only take so many scrolling daises, ya know?

Jennifer-Lynn said...

Mulie:

I'm glad you are here. You crack me up.

Lisa said...

Ugh, gotta resize this shit up there. Sorry about that.

LFoB, I'm awfully sorry they disappointed you. It sucks to really look forward to something, count on it, then have it yanked out from under you.

"I saw something on Jane Velez Mitchell"

I can't stand her and that's putting it nicely. Every time she says "the war on women" I want to batter her ass.

Shannon said...

OH god AP I sooo agree with you on JVM....I can barely stand Nancy Grace but that woman is totally whacky...she bugs the crap outta me because it is always "the war on women"....every issues is that. The trainer was probably killed by the whale as part of that conspiracy :)

Jennifer-Lynn said...

I don't even know who Jane Velez Mitchell is.

Lisa said...

Shannon, no shit. It really is a wonder she's not managed to blame that trainer's death on "the war on women". BD, she comes on before Nancy Grace and she's pretty much a tabloid journalist but she's made it her cause in life to fight against the war on women. She seriously says "war on women" multiple times each night. *Everything comes back to the war on women and how we need to stop it. Well, good fucking luck with that, Jane.

kristin said...

AP - I don't watch her because she annoys me too but I think I saw something online and it was from her show - but she is a strong advocate for animals and it was about the whale attack, so I read it.

BD - sorry for the bad mood!

SW - I LOVE the haiku!

I posted on the last post :(

AP...I want to know what in heck you googled to get that video :) Cracked me up!

Christy - Please do not mention that half of a Star Wars droid within hearing distance.

Anonymous said...

Oops...CK I shouldn't have even thought it :)

Lisa said...

Christy, I can take no credit for the video...it was right on the youtube homepage!

Half of a Star Wars droid...lol.

Lisa said...

ROFL! Christy, I don't think CK meant you had to delete it

Anonymous said...

Good stuff AP.

PJ said...

Christy - ha! No deletes necessary! Just poking a little fun.

Anonymous said...

Deleted just in case...you know who...reads here.

Lisa said...

Crap, I forgot to mention, Robin? That house sounds like a good bet...keep us posted on that. I'd feel uncomfortable living in a rental up for sale, too.

PJ said...

Not that I have any simmering resentment or anything.

Lisa said...

Well, it's deleted now so I guess it can be a little game for people to guess who.

Anonymous said...

Me either CK, me either.

I'm not saying a word. Not a word. I'm just going to giggle. :-D

Anonymous said...

CK, people from these parts actually *say should of instead of should have, too.

PJ said...

Latest spelling beef:

"grammer"

HA!

PJ said...

And just what is the last name of the Addams Family, AP?

Jennifer-Lynn said...

AP:

Do you see what I see?

kristin said...

I'm laughing too AP. I'm laughing too but it isn't national spelling day, just grammar.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

Damn, you caught it, CK!

PJ said...

Oh yeah BD. But *maybe I just did it on purpose, you know, to try to funny. Not.

Flashback to the night a week ago or so, where I couldn't get anything right and didn't have any alcohol to blame it on.

I think I should go back to lurking.

This isn't starting out well, again.

kristin said...

Oh, CK - we are just poking fun!

We love you! Don't go lurk! I'd have to come up to cold minneapolis to get you to delurk your ass and it has been too nice here lately!

PJ said...

Kristin - don't worry, I'm not going anywhere.

I have no shame. Sorry AP.

kristin said...

:)

How are your kiddos? Are they all recuperated and stuff?

PJ said...

Kristin - from their virus/flu/whatever crap they had, yes.

Daughter is starting trigger point injections in two weeks. She's hopefully getting a TENS unit (electrical stimulation) for her upper back, if the insurance approves it.

Lisa said...

Thank God, CK. I just don't feel like dragging anyone back tonight but for you? I'd have done it!

Christy, it probably sounds like I'm saying "should of" when I'm really saying "should've"...but I'm thinking I might be guilty of writing it from time to time, too. :-X

But I did improve on my math and I did get 2 loads of dishes done.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

Hey Ann:

I was catching up on stuff around the house. I'm glad you had fun.

Alice just brought in a second beheaded snake. This is getting to be freaky. We've locked the door so she can't get out and hunt.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

Congratulations, Ann.

Lisa said...

Ann, that's so exciting! Congratulations!

Jennifer-Lynn said...

Also, Ann, I forgot there was a playdate today. Full disclosure. :) Alanna had school today, and I went to the gym and caught up on stuff that I've neglected by helping my friend in the hospital (she's a member of the playgroup, Ann). I didn't go see her today, because she had a lot of visitors, but I was planning to go there up until about 2:30, so I was doing stuff I thought I wouldn't be able to do once I got home around 9 tonight, from the AO meeting.

Whew. That was a lot.

Anonymous said...

I'm going to haul myself to the gym.
Kids like the play area there, they ask to go, making me have very little excuse not to.
argh.

home study stuff, it'll be 2-3 months or so to be done with that. Apprehensive about parts of it. So much all at once, the money part (not tons, but still $2500 chunk), and having to tell a few IRL about stuff (reference letters). getting house ready & passable. Bunches.

Jennifer-Lynn said...

I need a beer.

Anonymous said...

:) no worries, just felt like giving you a hard time ;)
which gym do you go to? Is it the Y? That stands out for some reason

Anonymous said...

stone tomorrow?

Jennifer-Lynn said...

My kids love the Childwatch at the gym. Where do you go, Ann?

Jennifer-Lynn said...

Yep, I go to the Y. And yes to Stone tomorrow, unless some calamity befalls me, which they are wont to do.

AP, watching the Policewomen too. Project Runway, not so much.

Since the hubs went to days, my TV watching days are over. He bogarts the remote and I end up having to watch WWE Wrestling...Woo Hoo!

My daughter's birthday is May 31.

Kristin, what is your sister having?

T@iy@ said...

Very close! :) Boy or girl?

kristin said...

She is having a boy!

Hey AP, sorry I don't think I said hello!

That sucks about the remote. That is one good thing about SO's job, he is NEVER home at night so the TV is all mine!

Oh, I just posted about the zoo. Nothing fantastic but more pics :O)

kristin said...

What is Aldi?

T@iy@ said...

Kristin- I am heading over to check those out. Your zebra butt photo was cute!

Anonymous said...

Aldi's is a grocery store.

kristin said...

Gotcha, thanks Sandy!

I hate when a hear a cat yacking in the other room.

Anonymous said...

That's not a good sign, Mulie.

T@iy@ said...

Mulie- I am super glad that I don't own cats anymore because of that reason. Super nasty sounding, not to mention the cleanup.

Muliebrity said...

You have Aldi in FL, AP? Aldi is my jam! I love that place. I can get in and out of that place in the time is takes me to get down one aisle at the regular grocery store.

Muliebrity said...

It sounded like something really juicy too and since I just changed the boys sheets today, it was probably on one of their beds.

T@iy@ said...

We just got Aldi last year in our area. I am not really digging it.

T@iy@ said...

Oh, fantastic. I have a super gross cat story from the only cat that my hubs and I owned. I won't share it. I will spare you.

kristin said...

I hear you about the cat thing! I ask SO to shut the doors before he leaves for work and he's been slacking lately. LM went into his playroom yesterday and cat puke on the floor. He was like "mommy, kitty cat poo poo'd on the floor" - yeah, yuck!

This cat has a thing for the ribbons on balloons and she eats them and then pukes them up, there was one in his playroom.

GROSS!

Anonymous said...

I do just about 3/4 of my shopping at Aldi's. I love it. In and out of there in 30 minutes maybe.

PJ said...

Mulie - is your cat coughing up a decapitated snake?

PJ said...

PJ said...

kristin said...

Thanks Taiya - I think he is pretty darn cute too!

Anonymous said...

CK, I think AP fell asleep in the chair again. Maybe we should have Jake wake her up again, LOL.

PJ said...

Sandy - ha! What should we have him play?

kristin said...

CK - why are you ignoring AP!

Sandy - that is mean, just mean but funny!

Muliebrity said...

We shut all the doors when we go out of town. One of my dumb cats has been eating dog food and since he can barely tolerate cat food, he yacks it all up. He also eats dumb stuff, like tomatoes, cucumbers, bread, and anything the kids drop on the floor, so he does this a LOT.

PJ said...

Kristin,
Just teasing her. But I spelt it all correctly this time.

T@iy@ said...

Eww. So glad I am allergic, because I wouldn't be able to say no to a kitten face without knowing I would be a hot mess daily.

Anonymous said...

I think the other day he was playing the bass, so maybe Smoke on the Water. LOL If he plays guitar, Hendrix version of The Star Spangled Banner. ROFL.

::hoping AP doesn't whip out the banning wand::

Muliebrity said...

Sandy, Isn't Aldi the best? There milk is almost $1 cheaper than it is at Wal-Mart here and while they have limited varieties, they have enough of the things I need. I only go to the regular store once or twice a month for mean and whatnot. We are in a small town and it doesn't pay to do coupons or anything.

Anonymous said...

Is it Spangled or Spangle...what the hell is it? LOL

kristin said...

So question -

why is it when a guy gets sick they get away with doing nothing, but when we get sick, we still are expected to do shit - you know, like get up with the kiddos, keep them fed, wipe asses, etc.

Yeah, it was trash day - one of his very *few chores - not done, doors all open and house in disarray.

Uggggghhhhh!

T@iy@ said...

Mulie, same here with the milk. I shop there once every other week and buy meat in bulk at Sam's Club. So much cheaper. I don't buy named brand of anything so coupons are of no use to me.

Nilia said...

I'm here, just catching up on a few sites including MWOP. Good stuff.

kristin said...

hi FT! how is the little one? did he finally get a name, aside from SS?

T@iy@ said...

I might have to rethink Aldis. I shop at Sam's and Meijer usually.

Muliebrity said...

Sandy, I get anything else from the commissary or Costco and occasionally wal-mart, if I happen to be there and don't feel like making another trip lugging little boys around. I can get twice the food for the same money and there is very little else to tempt me. I still get tempted there though, they get some neat stuff in! Seasonal and regional foods. Me like!

PJ said...

Spangled.

kristin said...

Nilia said...

Hi Kristin, no he doesn't. My mom's over today (every Thursday, yay me) and she asked me to please not call him Shortround Steve any more. I asked her what she thought I should call him. She said I should call him "the baby". I told her flat out no, I would not refer to him as the baby even once, and if the parents can't even name the child and he is a week old tomorrow, that is their problem, and I have every intention of calling him Shortround at least long enough to irritate his parents. Seriously I might keep calling him that long after that, too.

Remember I mentioned the 3 girls who have been stealing from me and the other French teacher? Well 2 of them + 2 different kids (boys) this week started stealing from their own teacher. Also today, a boy just back from a 6-day suspension for telling his teacher to f-off and that he was going to kill him, was suspended for another 7 days for using a scissors to sharpen a wooden backscratcher which he was going to use to stab somebody. Also,he's in Grade 5.

Muliebrity said...

I totally called the cat barf! On Logan's bed, socked all the way to the mattress pad. Did I mention clean bedding? Washed and dried today?

Muliebrity said...

socked=soaked

Dang, FT, I though everything was perfect in Canada?!

Anonymous said...

Mulie, eww just eww.

Anonymous said...

CK are you here? I got my Canada mittens today, thank you!

How is everyone doing?

kristin said...

Oh FT! that is funny, I would do that to my sisters too - but I don't think we would be as kind.

My sis is Aunt BiBi (BB) but it used to be boobie (because she has large tata's) and my other sis is Aunt NaNa!

So if my sis did not name the kid, I would have to call him something really inappropriate!

Mulie! ewwwwwwwwwwww! that so sucks!

Nilia said...

Hey Mulie! No, I don't know how this school got so bad so quickly, I come home positively drained. I question daily, what am I doing? Does this matter? Does it matter that I'm reaching some kids? Improving some kids? Mothering some kids? Teaching some kids? I feel very down today about the situation at my school. Very bad for staff moral. I like my principal I really do but he'll be gone in a year or two and I need to think if I want to remain or start looking. Postings come out soon, I need to consider my options.

PJ said...

Bella - I'm here - I'm glad you got them. Aren't they soft and snuggly? Hope your brother?? enjoys them? Or was it nephew?

Nilia said...

Bella, that was fast! I was just mentioning the $65 mittens on eBay to some of my student helpers today. I keep my Olympic mittens at school for my outdoor supervision duties (recess). Every time I say "duties" my Grade 6s laugh out loud because they think it sounds like "doodies". They're not evil kids, just I don't know, into the potty humour. So I just say, "Oh my gosh, doodies, that *never gets old" then I do a huge fake laugh. It just gets me through the day.

Anonymous said...

BIL, CK :)

They are very soft and warm...of course, it is going to be almost 50 here this weekend! I am sure we will have more cold weather so I can break them out!

Muliebrity said...

That is so discouraging, FT! My mom and sister both teach in inner-city public schools and some days my mom feels like she should get combat pay! Not what you thought you went to university for, did you?

Anonymous said...

FT, you are just "doin' your doodies" as a teacher, ya know? :D

Nilia said...

Mulie: LOL! I call it hazard-pay!

Bella: you would *so fit into my Grade 6 class! Actually, quite a few of you would...

::ducks::

Nilia said...

I have been known to totally lose my cool and give a heart-wrenching rendition something along the lines of:

I am NOT a jailguard! I am NOT a babysitter! I am a TEACHER. I do NOT do paperwork! Get that test signed! I have THREE degrees! Do you UNDERSTAND me?? DO YOU? I am TIRED of repeating myself. I am TIRED of saying your name. I am NOT your mother and I do NOT think you are ADORABLE. Do you HEAR me? DO YOU?

kristin said...

FT - that is tough. What are the parents doing in the situation?

Are the girls still stealing candy?

I can understand your frustration but you are doing all you can do.

kristin said...

Good stuff FT - maybe I should take notes!

Nilia said...

Mulie: Ugh. I have my teaching credentials from a border college in Buffalo. I met people there who taught from behind a cage type thing. I also volunteered at a school they couldn't even be bothered to name. It was PS # something or other. I thought that was rough but I think I've slid way past that "place".

PJ said...

Ha, FT!

I tell my little ones that if they don't behave I'll make them come clean my house.

Muliebrity said...

The damn cat is still at it! That's what I get for not clearing the dishes before I got the rats ready for bed!

PJ said...

AP - I've been thinking about your shame question from this morning. Still thinking.

Nilia said...

Kristin: I had a meeting with a parent during lunch today, me, her and the classroom teacher of the kid in question (I am the French teacher in this situation, Gr 6). She told us, without a trace of a smile or humour, that at home her son was an angel. I was in utter disbelief. This kid harasses me 36 times in the 40 minutes I have him every day. My day in his class (and it isn't just him, sadly) goes something like this (let's call him Jim, not his real name):

Jim, turn around. What did you just throw? Sit down. Is that your pencil? Where do you think you're going? Where's your book? Get back in the classroom. Is this your group? No? Get back into your group. No you can't go to the bathroom. Did you take her sanitizer? Don't you DARE roll your eyes at me. Did you just moo like a COW? Where's your book? No you did NOT give me your book to hold, you know you keep your book for the duration of the unit. Put your chair back down. Get off the floor, that's what happens when you tilt your chair. No he didn't, sit down.

And it goes on and on and on, seriously I couldn't make this up. And it's not just him. There are a lot of really great kids in this class. If I was one of their mothers, I'd move.

PJ said...

I pretended to amputate a 4th graders right foot today, because she couldn't remember to not step on that foot first during the tango.

It's amazing what you can get away with with little kids if you do it with a smile.

Muliebrity said...

FT: That is an Academy Award winning speech! Do you clench your hands and have tears streaming down your face? It sounds soooo dramatic!

Muliebrity said...

FT: Did you tell his mother what you just wrote? I bet she deals with the same crap from that kid!

Nilia said...

The other teacher was so livid because the mother would say stuff like "Well what are YOU doing to address this? Why don't you write me a note when he misbehaves (um that would be every day, ma'am). You don't care about my child. I think you're getting defensive.

And the teacher got up, walked out and left me looking at her not knowing what to say.

BTW the reason we called her in for a meeting is because at about the same time he had written on a French assignment "poopiscool@hotmail.com" as an example of an email address, and he had turned in a limerick to his classroom teacher that named a boy in his rooms, and I forget how it went but the last line was about him liking tasty balls. Yup, he's an angel. Grade 6.

PJ said...

FT - you are a warrior teacher.

Is your contract for next year still in limbo? You were going to be teaching younguns', right?

kristin said...

FT - have you tried video taping the class and have them watch it? Not sure if that is allowed.

or maybe ignore the situation, sounds like he gets all the attentions and focus in the classroom. Maybe he isn't getting any attention at home so he acts out in class?

Just thinking out loud here.

Nilia said...

Kristin: the new stealing team (2 original girls of the 3 + 2 boys) are stealing candy but now from their classroom teacher. Before they were stealing from the French office (mine). They got busted because one of the not-very-smart criminals was bragging about it on the schoolbus ride home yesterday. Stoopid criminals, anyone?

Nilia said...

Mulie: tears? No, those kids aren't gonna break me! But teeth clenched most definitely.

CK: for my littles (Gr 1-3) I have perfected a look that terrifies my own 2 kids. With most of them, it's enough. Thank God.

kristin said...

Frustrating!

Tasty balls huh? WOW! What did the parent have to say about the limerick?

Nilia said...

Mulie: I DID tell his mother! That's what prompted her comment that she just couldn't understand it, and we probably wouldn't believe it (good call, mom) but at home he was an absolute ANGEL. ::gag::

Nilia said...

Kristin: she was shown a photocopy of the limerick. No reaction whatsoever. Same with the photocopy of poopiscool@hotmail.com

CK: I am full time they can't change that, but they can put me in 2 schools. So far I am still slotted to be in 2 schools, .7 at current school and .3 at a nearby school. JK is in limbo right now. I really really need JK or I will have to consider postings which are coming out very very soon.

Nilia said...

Kristin: not allowed! I can't even take pictures without a signed waiver from a parent. When I coach I take pics, develop them, and them delete them all. Even though I pay for them I leave all pics at school and consider them school property. I don't need the hassle.

PJ said...

FT,
I hope you get what you're wanting for next year.

kristin said...

That really sucks! It sounds like a problem at home or just a troubled child.

Muliebrity said...

Sounds like just a really annoying kid, FT.

Nilia said...

Kristin: His sister graduated 2 years ago. In my first year of teaching, she was rounded up in a group of 4 girls who had a "Mean Girls" diary (remember that movie?) which included many members of the school including me. I was referred to as a (and I quote): tattle-tale, test-monster and detention fucker.

Makes me wish they had just called me a douche canoe since it makes no sense to me whatsoever. They were all suspended at the time, btw, at my request (demand). Got me my dignity back in the school and kids know now do NOT F**K with Madame.

Nilia said...

You called it Mulie.

Muliebrity said...

Is anyone else sick of that stupid Potty Dance commercial?

Muliebrity said...

"I was referred to as a (and I quote): tattle-tale, test-monster and detention fucker."

Is it wrong that this is the best thing I have ever heard?! Pure awesomeness!

Nilia said...

Mulie: I'm not familiar with it. Is it on YouTube?

PJ said...

My first year of teaching, I had a high school boy call me a douche bag under his breath. I didn't hear it, but a parent who was helping in the choir room did.

It got him kicked out of choir. I win!

Nilia said...

Mulie: the beauty of it, and I'm still impressed about this fact, is that they used a graphic organizer to explain all the things that I was (a web, you know with "Madame" in the middle and then lines shooting out with all my finer attributes).

kristin said...

FT - That is awesome! You made it into the book! Yeah, definitely something going on at home/ or not going on at home. That sucks!

I've only seen the commercial a few times, and yes - Annoying!

PJ said...

He later was expelled for duct taping an inflatable sex doll on the outside of a window of an English teacher's room.

Nilia said...

2 years ago I had my hand against a classroom whiteboard and the boy (Gr 7) who didn't want to hear my lecture anymore pushed my arm to get passed me. He was suspended. I called his mother myself and God love her, she was supportive. I did tell her this was a *courtesy call, and if her son *ever touched me again I would call the police. To her credit, she yanked him out of the upcoming trip to Quebec City or Ottawa, I forget which (we alternate every year). He was most respectful right until graduation.

Nilia said...

I mean "past me". I mean that, right?

CK: I bet we could talk for hours and over several bottles of chardonnay over our war stories. Sadly enough. And I've only been doing this for 4 years.

PJ said...

I'm feeling for you, FT. It was the longest year of my life, teaching high school. Like I said, you are really a warrior for dealing with what you have to.

Nilia said...

CK: this is elementary school! Oh God, am I screwed? I'm considering secondary as an option.

PJ said...

6-8 grade here is called middle school. Elementary ends in 5th grade (sometimes 6th).

Is French an elective in high school? You might get a better group of kids if they are taking it because they want to.

Although I had some nasty choir boys who were taking it because they thought it was an easy A.

I proved them wrong. Unfortunately the teacher before me followed that philosophy. She didn't expect much out of them. So, it wasn't a good fit with my higher expectations.

Muliebrity said...

FT, You are a saint! Bless your heart!

The Potty Dance is a commercial for Pull-Ups with some creepy dude singing about kids needing to use the bathroom.

Nilia said...

CK: Catholic schools in my board do not have middle school. Elementary is JK-8, high school 9-12 (in my day was up to Grade 13). Public schools in my region do have middle schools like you describe.

FSL (French as a second language, or core French) is mandatory across Canada from Grade 4 to Grade 9 (inclusive). Some schools offer it starting in Grade 1, or at a level of "immersion" or "extended" but it's not mandated by the ministry, of the 3 levels only core is mandated.

I see what you're saying and so yes, anyone taking FSL after Grade 10 would be CHOOSING to do so. I would think that it would make them more accountable.

I am also considering French Immersion maybe Grade 1 which is 90% French, the percentage goes down as the grades go up (so Gr 5 would be like 50% French). If I did French immersion I would only be interested in doing grade 1 or 2 or 3. Not interested in teaching the skeletal system in French, no siree.

FT - I"m off to bed - I'll be reading your post tomorrow.

Here's some report card fun! Here's my comment (well, first part) for Gr. 2 music.

*N* demonstrates considerable understanding of a variety of musical genres and styles from the past and present, and their social and/or community contexts. *4* has demonstrated *2* learning through being exposed to the history of various children's songs and their significance.

CK: goodnight, sorry this was one of my chatty nights I guess. I'm sure I'll be quieter tomorrow, it comes in waves for me!

Goodnight CK!

I just chopped up some carrots and rinsed some potatoes in prep for tomorrows roast.

I forgot to set the alarm this morning but b/w sick SO and LM coming in my room at 5:45, I was able to get up on time.

I did not make LM's lunch, I will do that in the morning.

Going to go try to wake him up to go potty, didn't work last night, he ended up slumping on the floor and just whining, so I let him go back to sleep.

Jay and I are watching a documentary called "American Beer", about craft brewing in America. Jay is over the freaking moon, as the founder of Bell's Brewery in Michigan just said, "I started my company with $200, a stockpot, my stove, and determination".

Some who win the lottery will travel, give money to family, buy a new home, or a new car.

We? We will brew beer. Ack!

Oh boy I just saw the commercial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DacxAfN_T-Y

Oh my gosh that *is annoying Nice they were so inclusive. When I saw the Indian people it took me back to the "dot, not feather" post by our beloved.

I am going to sneak out now and put a couple of hours into these report cards.

Sleep tight.

FT, I have considered started my boys on a foreign language (they are 1 and 4), but wonder how. I didn't start German until 10th grade and could have cared less.

Night FT!

We had success with the night time potty!

I should be more tired than I am right now but I'm not.

Sounds interesting Bella!

I'm back. Regarding cat hacking, I'm so used to it now, it doesn't faze me. One of my old ladies has had a touchy stomach her entire life, now nearly 17 years. I doubt she's skipped 3 days in all that time. Her new thing in the last two years is to projectile vomit gushers, and in human being quantities. We think it may be the result of small seizures but whatever. She's old, she's in no pain and I don't have carpet so we deal.

As for Aldi, this was only my second time there even though we've had them for over a year now. I don't know why I never went back after the first time because I liked everything I got except for their bread. I seriously made an amazing haul today for $80 and that included $10 in live plants. Plus, they had dark chocolate bars with chili in them for $1.29...huge bar, too. Yum!

No banning wands for me tonight and no, I didn't doze back off...yet.

I have the greatest admiration in the world for teachers and all the crap y'all have to put up with. Saints, you are, to not snap.

I already changed the comment above. Exposed sounded weird.

Mulie: I want to say Gutennoch but have no idea how to spell it.

Goodnight, Kristin. Hooray for nigh time potty success!

Oh *there you are, AP!

Goodnight to you too.

Hi AP, I was just thinking about how you are feeling today.

I think I might have said this before, but the old, insane patients at any medical practice are

1. retired nurses

2. retired teachers

Get out while you are still sane, ladies!

Muliebrity said...

FT, Not that it matters, since you have retired for the evening, but I know no German and I was an exchange student! See why I would like to start my children earlier than 10th grade.

AP, This damn cat is still at it too! He drooled some nasty stuff on the couch a minute ago. The dog's taken to following him around. Gross, I know, but less I have to clean up!

And that? Literally gagged me. Thanks there, Mulie.

Bella, I'm alright. Not getting worse so I think I'm plowing through it and fighting it off. Thanks!

Kristin. I'm doing it now. You know what I mean. ;-)

Um, okay, so that last comment to Kristin sounded vaguely sexual and that's not what I meant...lol!

Vaguely? Kristen, I will gladly be a witness on your sexual harassment suit.

Oh, hush, Mulie! Check my blog and you'll see what Kristin did for me. :-)
